Course created in collaboration with NMSU Extension Family Consumer Science.
Audience: Food manufacturing employees involved at any point in the production chain. This includes, but is not limited to, food manufacturing employees involved in the production, preparation, processing, packaging, packing, storage, and handling of food and food products
Objective: At the end of this Online Food Safety Training, New Mexico Food Manufacturing Employees will be able to:
- Understand their personal responsibility to exercise personal cleanliness and hygienic practices.
- Comprehend why personal cleanliness and hygienic practices are essential to ensure food safety.
- Apply personal cleanliness and hygienic practices while working in food processing facilities.
